Team UP&UP kicked off 2022 with a series of Graffiti Art workshops at Stockland Green Hills Shopping Centre. Over a 6-day period, 18 workshops were held with over 250 people participating. The workshop focused on Graffiti Art, with lessons and a live painting demonstration.

Each participant created their own unique graffiti art using posca paint pens (check out some of the amazing creations in the photos). Participants learnt about structuring letters and words, choosing colours, creating shadow (3D) and how to add movement lines, drips, stars, arrows, splashes and other tips and techniques for creating a vibrant graffiti art piece. 

Participants also learnt about the difference between graffiti art and graffiti vandalism – it’s all about permission!!

And  ….. over the 6 days, people were entertained by watching one of our professional graffiti artists paint a large canvas. Here they were able to see how an idea and a sketch can be transformed into a 4m long graffiti artwork – can you see what it says?
